 What colors birds can see?

There are two types of colour vision in birds: violet sensitive (VS) and ultraviolet sensitive (UVS).

UVS birds have a visual pigment in the cones of their retinas that absorbs UV light, allowing them to see the ultraviolet portion of the spectrum.

The human retina has three kinds of cone cells (receptors used for color vision): red, green and blue.

Owl is only bird who can see Blue colour.
